Hello, I'm Hazel, the artist responsible for the portraits you see throughout this website.

I grew up in the beautiful Scottish borders in the middle of the countryside. I was constantly surrounded by animals. I have always had a real passion for wildlife and the great outdoors.

My other passion in life is Art. I attended art college in early 90's, studying design, but have always kept up the fine art side of things, gravitating towards pieces that featured animals in one form or another. I first started offering pet portraits professionally in 2008.

Living in Scotland, I work from my desk at home, specialising in pastel pencil portraits, priding myself on capturing a true likeness of your pet.

I really do love what I do and can't think of anything better and hope this shines through in my work.
